Employee Training & Development

Employee training and development programs are essential to the success of businesses worldwide. Not only do these programs offer opportunities for staff to improve their skills, but it also enhances employee productivity and improve company culture.

At VFS through Employee development we aim to strengthen work performance through approaches such as coaching, training sessions, and leadership mentoring. Our training and development program includes:

Orientation Training

Every new employee has to undergo an orientation training where the company’s rules, policies, and practices are briefed along with the vision and mission.


All the field staff like Assistant Branch Managers, Branch Managers, and Customer Service Representatives gets hands-on training so that they acquaint themselves with company culture, policies, and practices.

Refresher Training

Refresher training is given frequently to the field staff with a range of subjects such as how to introduce a product, explain changes in the product, selling skills, objection handling, and customer care management. This not only enhances the skills but also keeps abreast with the changes in the company.

Soft Skills/Life Skills Training

All the staff of VFS has to go on a mandatory five-day life skill training session every year. The company has a host of programs at the managerial level regarding effective people management skills, coaching, and situational leadership.

At the executive level, it has programs in soft skills such as Inter-Personal Relationships, Business Communication, Time Management, Team Synergy, and Personality Development.

There is a range of training in soft skills that are provided to the employees of the VFS Capital. These are Personal Effectiveness Program, Business Communication, Time Management, Time management, Customer Care Management, Interpersonal Relationship, Team Synergy, Conflict Management, Manager as Coach (MAC), Situational Leadership, Goal Setting and Planning, and Selling Skills.

Special Training

MILES or Managerial Induction on Leadership & Entrepreneurship Skill The program helps participants understand leadership qualities, how to identify and culture leadership qualities, and how to manage a team effectively. MILES also helps participants upgrade their decision-making quality and nurture entrepreneurship.

RACE or Renewed Adaptability to Changing Environment

The program helps participants to understand one’s self and modify attitudes and create a personal effectiveness grid. This program also trains participants in SWOT analysis and enhances one’s potential

DISC (D)ominance, (i)nfluence, (S)teadiness and (C)onscientiousness

DISC profiling helps the trainee to raise awareness, to improve teamwork, to develop stronger selling skills, to manage the team more effectively. DiSC profiles help build stronger, more effective working relationships.
